Without an active trial or Premium, your vault switches to Read Safe: viewing and exporting remain available, while editing and adding pause. Premium costs €29.99 per year.
Restore Access restores only existing trial or Premium rights. It does not restore a vault file, Notes, Accounts, or Masterkey.
Your vault content and Masterkey stay local on your device and are not sent to VultaNotes or Stripe servers. VultaNotes does not provide cloud storage or cloud sync for vault content.
You create an encrypted backup yourself and choose where to keep it. A backup still requires its matching Masterkey. VultaNotes and support cannot recover a forgotten Masterkey.
The Decoy Vault is a separate, harmless vault opened with a second Masterkey while your real vault stays hidden.

VultaNotes is not a traditional password manager. It is a locally encrypted vault for private notes and Accounts in which you can store credentials.
You can use Premium on your personal devices within a fair device limit to prevent abuse. Because we don't sync via the cloud, vaults remain independent per device.
You simply transfer an encrypted backup from your old to your new device, and use the 'Restore Access' option with your email address to reactivate Premium.
Only minimal external data may be needed for billing and activation via Stripe. Your notes remain strictly separate from this process.
