1. Acceptance
By using VultaNotes, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
VultaNotes is a privacy-focused, encrypted notes vault. Vault content stays local on the user's device.
'Restore Access' reconnects existing trial or Premium rights to your access. It does not retrieve a vault, Notes, Accounts, or Masterkey and is not a cloud backup.
3. Trial and Premium
The free trial lasts 30 days, costs €0 at the start, and does not require a payment card. After returning, you confirm a code sent by email. The trial becomes active only after successful verification.
- The trial does not automatically convert into paid Premium access.
- After the trial, you can choose Premium for €29.99 per year, with automatic annual renewal or as a one-time annual payment.
- Without an active trial or Premium, your vault remains in Read Safe Mode: viewing and exporting remain available, but editing and adding pause.
4. Billing and cancellation
Automatic annual renewal applies only if you explicitly choose it. A one-time annual payment does not renew automatically. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Refund requests are assessed with respect for applicable statutory rights. Stripe processes the payment but does not independently determine your statutory consumer rights.
5. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Masterkey safe. VultaNotes and support cannot recover a forgotten Masterkey.
- Create encrypted backups of important data in time. A backup remains encrypted and requires its matching Masterkey.
- Do not use the service for unlawful activity or infrastructure abuse.
- You are responsible for securing your device and browser environment.
6. Liability
VultaNotes aims to provide a reliable and secure service, but provides it on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis within legal limits.
To the extent permitted by law, VultaNotes is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses caused by device compromise, lost keys, or misuse.
7. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access in cases of abuse, fraud, or serious breach of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the service, with reasonable notice where appropriate.
