What do you use VultaNotes for?
You use VultaNotes for locally encrypted private notes and Accounts in which you can store credentials. The Emergency Vault / Decoy Vault can open a separate, harmless vault with a second Masterkey.
Is VultaNotes a password manager?
VultaNotes is not a traditional password manager. It is a locally encrypted vault for notes and account details, with room to store credentials in Accounts.
Where is data stored?
Vault content and Masterkeys stay local on your device and are not sent to VultaNotes or Stripe. VultaNotes does not provide cloud storage or cloud sync for vault content and is designed for offline-first use.
Masterkey and Restore
VultaNotes and support cannot recover a forgotten Masterkey. Restore Access restores only existing trial or Premium rights; it does not restore a vault file, Notes, Accounts, or Masterkey.
Trial, Premium, and Read Safe
The free trial lasts 30 days. Premium costs €29.99 per year. Without an active trial or Premium, viewing and exporting remain available in Read Safe, while editing and adding pause.
